SIZING GUIDE

Our garments are designed to be highly adjustable, especially in the arms, chest, and back areas. This allows for a comfortable and flexible fit across a range of body shapes. In keeping with our medieval-inspired designs, we have chosen to forego modern zips and elastics, opting instead for traditional lacing and adjustable closures. These thoughtful choices not only align with our historical aesthetic but also ensure that your garment will last much longer, as there are fewer components that can wear out or break over time.

However, when considering the waist measurement, there are two important factors to keep in mind:

  • Largest Waist Measurement: This is the maximum size the waist section of the dress will allow when the garment is unlaced. The largest waist measurement must fit over your shoulders or hips to allow the dress to be put on. If your shoulder or hip measurements are larger than the largest waist measurement, the garment may not fit over these areas.

  • Smallest Waist Measurement: This is the measurement of the waist portion of the dress when completely laced up, allowing for a snug fit.

When selecting your size, it’s crucial to ensure that your largest waist measurement can comfortably pass over your shoulders or hips.
